Who We Are
Chase and Jay met while working together at a tech company and started Premier Web having only known each other a few weeks. Not having any web presence yet themselves, they had to grind it out to get customers like every other new business. Over the next few years they went from being acquaintances to being each other's best mans at their weddings. Over the past 7 years, Chase and Jay have not only grown their own families, but have created a client base which has become the Premier Web family.

Web Design in Winchester
There is so much that goes into web design that I could write about it forever. After years and years of doing this, we've gotten every question you can imagine. One of the questions we get all the time is, "how long will a website last me?". Well, technically forever and also technically not very long. A website is simply a folder of files so it can exist forever without any changes. However, most people make changes to their site consistently and every couple of years do a complete redesign. We understand that times change and what looked great a couple of years ago is starting to look outdated today. We build our sites on structures that can be easily updated without having to start from scratch. Not to sound cheesy, but this saves you time and money. And if you do need a complete redesign, our theme is constantly updating so anytime you rebuild your site you'll get new and updated tools. A professional website can make a huge difference when it comes to converting online traffic. If you get people to your website but your website looks like you did it yourself then you'll probably lose the sale.

Built For Conversions
Converting traffic into paying customers is the lifeblood of a website. There's no point is spending money on marketing if you're wasting traffic. If your intention is to have website visitors contact you or buy something, then it's crucial to have an effective website that converts. We've seen companies waste thousands of dollars on marketing and obtain thousands of visitors to their website but it didn't make a difference in actual revenue because people just left their sites. After a modern update, they started getting the leads. The look of a website isn't the only thing that aids in converting traffic. The actual layout of the content and how everything flows is essential to getting potential customers to call or fill out a form. You need to entice them in the beginning, and slowly walk them through finding what they are looking for and then making it easy for them to contact you.
If you own a business in Winchester then you're probably seeing the area grow rapidly. Showing up in search engines is important now but it's going to be essential in a year. Search engine optimization (SEO) takes time but is an amazing long-term marketing solution. If your website is showing up high in search results for keywords that your services are relevant to, and is built to convert online traffic into paying customers, you'll be set-up to have a consistent flow of leads indefinitely. When we started this business, we had to grind it out in the first 6 - 8 months or so while we were working on ranking our own website. Now, all we need to keep busy is answer the phone and respond to lead inquiries.

Search Engine Optimization
An SEO Overview
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of increasing your online exposure, building trust and relevance, to climb up the rankings in search results for keywords that will bring you traffic. Basically, we're speeding up the process of your business growing online. Over the course of many years, a website will slowly gain exposure online naturally. We speed this process up by listing your site on hundreds of social and citation sites, publish articles on your business, getting huge authority sites to recommend you, and many many other things. SEO is not simple. We have spent decades and thousands of dollars learning how to provide true, organic SEO that is effective and will actually help grow your business.
The SEO Difference
Let's say you want to grow your Winchester chiropractic business but the only customers you get are finding out about you from word of mouth. All of these customers knew your business name so it was easy to find you. SEO is the best way to get found by customers who don't know your business name. When potential customers search Google for something like "Best Winchester Masseuse" they are going to see all of your competitors. This is the valuable real estate that you need to be in. If you've been investing in effective search engine optimization, you'll be at the top of that list and thus will have the first impression on those searching. These customers are constantly getting ads thrown at them on social media, daily annoying phone calls, and are surrounded by pay-per-click ads. They want to go find a company on their own, so when they do a search and see you in the organic rankings they will consider you the most trustworthy option.

HOW SEO WORKS
On-Site SEO
Search engine bots crawl your site and index it for various keywords that are relevant to the content. If the bots read everything and can tell that you are a masseuse in Winchester then your site will be indexed for "masseuse in Winchester". This will put your site somewhere in the results for that search. If you have very little competition, your site might rank high on its own. If you have some competition, then you won't rank high where customers can find you. Depending on the overall level of competition, you may or may not need a professional SEO service. A professional SEO service consists of two parts: on-site SEO and off-site SEO. On-site SEO is actual changes to the content and backend code of the site to make it easier for search engines to read your content, and supply a hierarchy of importance of content. For example, Google has a hard time telling what an image is, but if you put an alt-tag in the code with a little description, Google will know for sure. So if you have an image of a patient receiving treatment, you want to label that image as something like "patient receiving treatment at my clinic" or anything that describes what the image is.
Off-Site SEO
Once your site is indexed, it should pop up in search results for various keywords that you have been indexed for. For most businesses, this is somewhere in the 8th - 10th page where no one will find them. That's where off-site SEO comes in. For businesses that have an average amount of competition, you need more than just image tags to prove to Google that you are the best result. Google looks at everything on your website as what you are saying about yourself. What you say about yourself gets you put in the right category. Google looks at all of the links coming into your site, and depending on where those links come from it will determine where you should rank. Using the chiropractor example again, if you have a national medical site with an article about chiropractic services that has a link to your site, Google will see this as a very trustworthy site that's trusting you. These types of links build your trust and credibility with search engines and raise your site up to the top of the results for the keywords you've been indexed for.

Videos
There's no better way to quickly engage website visitors than with a professional video. Unprofessional videos hurt you more than they help. You do not want an unprofessional video on your site. However, a well-made, effective video can make a huge difference. If there is something that makes your company stand out from your competition then there is no better way to illustrate it than with an animated explainer video.
